Even my <a href="https://github.com/PCMan/gtk3-nocsd">gtk-nocsd</a> package didn't help. However, the Telegram devs actually provide a simple flag in the settings to use the system titlebar! Thankfully, the Telegram devs have provided a choice. The people who like reduced functionality (aka minimalism) can hide the system titlebar, while those of us who want a traditional desktop environment with consistent titlebars can use them.
